Good travel agencies are almost extinct but based on my recent experience I have found one: Thank God for Venus Travel!

I am a first generation Italian from Bari, currently living in Dallas, but having spent a good portion of my life in Chicago, I consider it my home away from home. I recently decided to take my step-son to Italy and found myself in need of a travel agent. I remembered everyone talking about Venus Travel in Chicago and I reached out to John C…he right away made me feel like part of his family and that is very important!

John made the whole process seem simple. The booking was so easy. All I had to do was tell John where and when I was going to Italy and in less than 24 hours, he sent me a proposed itinerary with accommodations and all I had to do was tell him how many nights I would be staying at each city and which hotel. Next he confirmed and finalized the itinerary before booking the flight. There were no headaches or worries, John did all the heavy lifting.

“Venus Travel is everything that you look for when you are traveling. I have been using Venus, as well all my family and friends, for years now for all of my traveling needs. The owner, John, is truly invested to his customers and does everything he can to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Just recently, I expressed interest in traveling out of the country and John kept tabs on ticket prices and stayed in contact until I was ready to purchase. In the past when I had issues with flights getting cancelled or delayed, John was on it. While everyone was waiting in the dreaded airport customer service line, John had me on the next flight. Traveling can be a stressful experience, but knowing that I could always call John for any issues puts me at ease. Not only are the services provided excellent, but also the Venus Travel team is super friendly and welcoming.”

“I can’t express the amazing service Venus Travel has to offer. My friends and I booked a trip to Cancun, Mexico through John and just arrived back from it today. Our vacation didn’t begin too well, due to a flight cancellation and a very unhelpful United staff. However, luckily for us, we had John constantly in contact with us to get us on the next flight to Cancun.

He got us on the next best flight and at that point, we finally felt that our vacation was on to a good start, thanks to John of course. Again, on the last morning of our vacation, we woke up to a text message from United saying that our flight would be delayed by four hours. At this point, we contacted John, who yet again dropped everything he was doing to ensure that we would be able to get on a flight home as soon as possible. And again, he did, getting us on an even better, earlier flight.

I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for John and Venus Travel, this would not have been our ideal vacation. Service like the type Venus Travel has to offer is extremely hard to find. They make their clients feel safe at all times while traveling and always made themselves available to ensure everything runs smoothly.
